Serving God

Perhaps you might have many doubts about serving God. Is it mandatory or voluntary? Is it a requirement in the church? How do you serve correctly?

First of all, it’s necessary to understand that you must not feel obligated since serving God is an expression of our gratitude for all He has done in our life.

In order to know how to serve Him we need to study the Gospel and notice what Jesus did, how He conducted Himself in the midst of people, how he served those that came to Him and how he solved their problems and their doubts. If we look all around us, we’ll notice people with many spiritual and material needs that go to church and seek after God. Therefore, it’s in the church that they should find people willing to hear them and intercede for them!

We know that it’s impossible for one person to tend to the needs of an entire congregation. We need to work as a team with the pastors. The Christian Life means serving one another in love. There are a number of areas to serve in the church, such as:

  • Hosts
  • Parking
  • Assistance in Lobbies
  • Counseling
  • IgleKids (Kid’s Church)
  • Television
  • Media and Communication
