I want to share more than a message, a life experience. I had the chance, back in 2003, to come to work full time to this church. All my life I have been a business man. Today I want to testify to you what I have seen and felt. I want to motivate your faith, your heart, and leave you with some clues about what you can put in practice. Since 2003, we started traveling with Eduardo. We were in a learning process. The pastor told me to look for a man of faith and there get some rapport to organize the event. We were traveling to Venezuela, and that’s when God started doing supernatural things. Each time that my feet touch a place, a domino effect starts. Things start to come out from nowhere, but resources, people, and the wish of others to participate takes place. That time, it was the first time we arrived to Puerto Ordaz. It’s besides a river, and it was really hot. After visiting pastors and people we were able to get the crusade ready and go back to the pastor. Since I had never been working on this before, we just took note or the requirements of the place and waited for the date to come. I am a third-generation Christian, and sometimes that can be an advantage, but in my case, I used to question God’s power, because in Sunday School I had been taught that God’s power had been there 2,000 years ago. I was taught that miracles weren’t needed today; they were secondary, and they didn’t happen. Of course, the church I used to go to didn’t have any miracles. I had never seen God work that way.

So, the ministering time started, then the worship, and then the pastor came up the stage, and I felt a particular presence of God that I hadn’t felt even when he was here at church. I don’t know why, but something supernatural takes place. He takes a step, enters certain places, and you feel that the presence of God is going to make him explode because of the amount of anointing. I got goose bumps, and the miracles started happening. I remember the pastor called me to pray for a man sitting on a wheelchair. He said, “Go and get him up.” Those are the times when you shouldn’t think too much. I went, and I said to him, “In the name of Jesus, get up.” I gave him my hand, and he got up. My faith started to diminish, and I asked him if he could walk before. He said he couldn’t, not for the last three years. After that, he started to testify. The anointing was such that I couldn’t stay standing up; it was so strong that something went through my heart and changed my life completely, because I realized that I had an Almighty God, a God who was alive. I learned that what the Word said was true. He could work with signs and prodigies. Today I want to testify and give you a prelude of what is going to happen at the national stadium. You know that Jesus in certain places, such as Nazareth, didn’t perform miracles, because when he arrived, they saw him as a carpenter, not as Jesus Christ, the son of God. It says that God couldn’t perform miracles there. This means that the environment of faith and hope is laid out by us. It doesn’t mean He couldn’t do the miracles, but that he didn’t feel pleased in doing them without an environment of faith.

When we have arrived to different countries, people yearn for that manifestation of the Holy Spirit through our pastor. I can tell you that in Mexico, in a completely Catholic country, people travel miles, and they do almost anything to arrive, and thousands of people come from places where only two or three percent of the population is Christian, but there is an environment of faith, of expectation.

Acts 1:4-8
On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” so when they met together, they asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

In another version it explains that the power is to proclaim the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Regardless of what I used to preach before, the message was completed when I witnessed the miracles and prodigies, and that’s the Word I needed to do what I do now. All of us here are together.

Verse 14
They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

You can be next to a person but thinking a different thing. You are not thinking the same, but in the case of the disciples, they were together and thinking the same thing.

Acts 2:2
Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

The Holy Spirit is there to proclaim and preach the Word. It’s not only for you to be shaken up or laugh; those are manifestations, but it’s not the why of the Holy Spirit. It’s there for you to take courage, the energy, and all you need to proclaim the Word of God – to get to a higher commitment of wanting to proclaim God’s Word, a higher commitment of being filled by the Holy Spirit. With one hand, you’ll have to lay hands and preach the Word, and with the other, receive the Holy Spirit.

Can you imagine what would happen if 3,000 convert today, with one of your sermons? What do you do with them?

If we are talking that it was an environment of unity, which is what pleases God. For this crusade, you need to prepare your heart to think the same, to believe with the expectation of finding out what God is going to do.

After this crusade, we will have favor with many people. When you generate an environment of faith, signs, and prodigies, you are saying to the Holy Spirit “welcome, do with me whatever you want.” I know that all of you here long to see a miracle in your lives. However, what is the environment we are going to generate for those miracles? That’s what the disciples did.

Acts 3:1-8
One day peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer – at three in the afternoon. Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. The Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping and praising God.

What was this ma waiting for after 40 years in the same situation? Money. He didn’t expect a miracle; he didn’t even know what that was.

The crippled man looked at them with anxiety, waiting to receive something out of charity. If you read the Gospels, Peter and John couldn’t walk together, but after the visitation of the Holy Spirit, it says they went to the temple together. Don’t you think that walking together, united, is not important for God. Peter’s answer was, “I have neither gold nor silver, but what I do have, I give you.” That’s when a process of change started for this man. The man didn’t have the faith, but the apostles’ faith operated.

They did what was right, and the religious people were already criticizing them, instead of looking at the fact that the crippled man had been healed. When I told you about what happened in Ciudad Bolivar, in Venezuela, it could be that the man had faith, but I also know that I put into practice the faith I received from the pastor. Many people are going to need for us to generate the faith environment for it to work miracles and signs. It’s being the host of God’s glory. He is gong to use you as the host he wants to have.

In the midst of praise and worship, ask yourself if you truly want the anointing of the Holy Spirit to preach the good news with energy, to lay hands with anointing. Today, the Holy Spirit is here, and he will distribute gifts and presents. I am going to do something valuable, which I have done only few times, and it is to pray for all of you who want to receive what I have received. It’s a commitment to responsibility because you have to receive something to put it into practice. So, the same way that Peter and John knew that they had something far more valuable than gold and silver; the same thing to give is here.
